BBD Bikes Group Ltd is the parent company of both BBD Bikes and Cairn & Crank.  In November 2025, a decision was made to separate the mechanical and sales element of the business (formerly known as BBD Bikes Ltd) from the cycle tourism element to ensure a clear distinction between the two - thus, Cairn & Crank came into being.  Both subsidiaries operate under trading names as part of BBD Bikes Group Ltd and are subject to the same fiscal and legal rules as the limited company.

BBD Bikes Group Ltd aims to become a leader in the Scottish cycling industry through its provision of outstanding service, repair and sales and via unforgettable cycling excursions and holiday experiences for tourists from the UK and beyond.  We are a multilingual company, speaking both French and German, and are focussing our sights on bringing tourists from Europe to our beautiful Scotland!
